Flight Training for THOSE SEEKING A
Recreational Pilot CERTIFICATE (rpC),
IF YOU CAN’T MAKE IT TO OUR FLYING SCHOOL.
Running or working on a station makes it hard to find the time to get to the coastal regions
to obtain you pilot training - SO WE CAN COME TO YOU.
WHAT AIRCRAFT WILL BE USED?
We can bring our aircraft or use your own (subject to an airworthiness evaluation)
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
All flight training is competency based so the length of time will vary from person to person, however, you should dedicate a daily flight program to gain the most out of the time with your instructor. Subject to the weather, the basic RPC will take an average of 2-3 weeks.
IS THERE ANY OTHER TRAINING I CAN DO?
Absolutely, you can add-on training for the Passenger Carrying Endorsement. This can be obtained very shortly after achieving your RPC.
As the outback is HUGE, you will likely need a “Navigation Endorsement” as well. This training will normally add another 3-4 days.
WILL THERE BE ANY THEORY EXAMS?
Certainly. Ensuring you know the required under-pinning knowledge is a fundamental part of the training. Exams can be administered during the training
CAN WE USE OUR OWN RUNWAY?
Sure can, subject to inspection.
