TAILWHEEL TRAINING
A Tailwheel Endorsement will let you fly aircraft with a tail wheel instead of a tricycle undercarriage.
You will achieve a far greater awareness of Centre of Gravity, slide-slipping and crosswind take-offs and landings. You will also finally realize what those footrests are really for and let’s face it, flying a taildragger is just great fun!
Not only does Tailwheel Training allow you to operate a broader range of aircraft, it also braodens your skillset, allowing you to become a safer, confident and more competent pilot.
Tailwheel training is competency based & includes
Approx. 5 hrs of flying
All long ground briefings
All Pre & Post Flight Briefings
Training provided at our base or yours
The Strike Aviation Training Difference
We want you to be safe. We do not cut corners on our training. In order to meet the Part 61 Competencies, you will be proficient at 3 Point and Wheeler landings including X-Winds and Short-Field Techniques.
